This Desert Academy house raffle in New Mexico is running some deals on multiple ticket buys. This is common in house raffles, and it gives buyers an incentive to increase their odds of winning. The tickets for this house raffle are $100 each, but with the 10 ticket deal, you get a $315 savings – nice deal.

In this house raffle there are 10 other prizes besides the home, and it’s great to have more than just the grand prize. Ticket buyers want to feel that if they’re not the first ticket drawn, they still have a chance to walk away with a prize. Sometimes local business owners will donate those additional prizes in exchange for a tax-write-off and their name listed as a sponsor for the raffle.

The nonprofit should always think about the ticket buyer and what’s in it for the ticket buyer. Why?
